Do Matrix : To-do app with time management matrix style App Reviews

Simple and clean design. Very helpful.

I dont know why another reviewer said you cant delete or mark as done. Just swipe to the right. Its both a feature and a draw back that the interface is quite minimalist - some functions are not obvious. Thats part of the draw though. You want get the noise of an interface out of the way so you can focus on what needs to get done. I dont put a lot of things on this app. I use it to keep me focused on things that dont make a lot of "noise" but are important to work on and get done or to track things that are easy to overlook. Ive found it helpful for getting things done, which makes it worth the price.

Great App!

I had been using Eisenhower Matrix for a year or so on paper. I use this app more than any other.

Vern intuitive

In five minutes I have concluded that this app presents to-do items in the best visual configuration , showing a snapshot of priorities as well as categories. It allows multiple list types that can be viewed individually or as a summary icon. Ex. Main screen shows grid of how many items, order of priority and if those priorities are for work, shopping, ideas, family etc. changing a category requires sliding the icon list up until the desired icon is on bold. Editing is a snap. My only complaint is the lack of color choices for the theme but Im guessing this will improve with future updates. Nice, intelligent, useful app. Worth 2 bucks.

Works for me

I tried lots of other to do style apps. This one just works for me because of its visual make up. Not super fancy not overly complicated just easy to use reminders work well

Helps me focus

As someone who balances multiple to dos, this helps me focus on the most important tasks. Apple Reminders lacks that option so I use it to store my tasks and the Do Matrix for what I need to do this week. Small glitch where its not syncing between devices right now. Thanks!

Excellent application – very simple

I love this application because it does electronically what Ive been doing on paper for years. The application is very easy-to-use and very reliable.

good design, odd support

I am trying out Eisenhower GTD matrix and the design here is better and more simplified than other iOS offerings. That said ... - iCloud support is iffy. My iPad and iPhone rarely sync. I have tried all sorts of trouble shooting on this and my lists are different depending on device. - The companys website is not accessible via my iPad. Sorta odd for an iOS developer. - Some design decisions are not intuitive. For example, a category icon is required. - Selecting the task color when creating something new is pretty, but the vertical text was difficult to figure out what do do with and took up a lot of space on iPad. Once figured out this works well, so I dont know if it is fixable. - Items that are too long scroll back and forth. Have a couple of theses will make your head spin.

Great

Love this app! Thanks

Great companion to Opus Domini

I use Do Matrix as an inbox for things I need to do (GTD-like) so that I can later sort them into a prioritized daily task list (FPS-like). This really helps me follow up on items efficiently.
